If you missed this one, then make sure you dont miss our next meet & trackday taking place on July 26th!
We arranged this gathering as to meet up with the members and fans of this blog. It was a good evening and plenty of interesting people from different motoring communities actually showed up. Although the AE86 owners never came; we had a gang of JDM styled AE101 Corollas roll in along with some UAEboost members.
Thanks to all who showed up! It was great to finally meet everybody! Hopefully we will arrange a more interesting venue for the next meet. By that time, the weather will get better and those who ordered the 86 would probably have already received their cars.
Stay tuned as we push further into the upcoming motoring season of the UAE.
Several members from prominent motor communities in the UAE tag along for a drive to Jebel Hafeet. We decided to join the action. We meet up with the convoy in Dubai and head out at 11pm towards Al Ain. Weather was extremely humid but things started getting pleasant once we started climbing Jebel Hafeet. After a long hot and dull summer, motoring activities are back in action to mark the fading end of summer in the UAE. We were in a rush and unfortunately had to miss out some of the gorgeous scenery of Al Ain City from Jebel Hafeet’s peak. Enjoy the photos of those premium German machinery.
Here is a compilation of some of the best shots from the Fuj car & bike gathering. We managed to catch up with one of the convoys before they departed but unfortunately had to miss the action in Fujairah.
Yesterday was the International Day Against Drugs. Dubai Police and EMSF have held a large gathering of modified cars on Mamzar Beach in Dubai.
I did not stay there for long but managed to see some interesting and controversial rides of all kinds.
It was a nice to see a motoring authority working side by side with the law; this is something we were asking for almost a decade. Now it seems that Dubai is slowly transforming into a safe haven for modified cars while the other emirates tighten their grip on car enthusiasts and alienate anybody with an interesting car.
This Month’s Motoring Middle East had a very different flavor; with a selection of new cars, attendance from various motoring communities and authorities from the region along with representatives from dealerships being present at the venue.
It all started with meeting up with a convoy of JDM only cars from UAEboost and there was a special surprise over there.
